It was a beautiful morning on the Chesapeake Bay, and the osprey were out in full force. They seem to have multiplied since last year. Every 30 feet, there is another next on one of my neighbor’s piers.
Ospreys mate for life, and they come back to nest in the same place every year. At this time in the season, they have already mated and the moms-to-be spend all day sitting on their eggs. The dads are the bread-winners and fierce guardians of their family. Continue reading
